Improve Your Health In The Digital Age
It’s no secret that we’ve been doing more work around digital health and well-being. We’ve been working alongside the NHS and other health organisations to promote online health resources and how they can be used to help manage long-term health conditions and promote an overall healthier lifestyle.
Whether it’s installing Alexa home devices into a patient’s home or going out into communities to talk about the range of health apps available, we’re doing our very best to promote the many ways digital health can help, but we know that we’ve barely scratched the surface.
There’s so many resources available to improve your health and well-being that it can be hard to know which ones to use or even where to start. With this in mind, we’ve been supporting a Facebook group called ‘Improve Your Health In the Digital Age’. The group began in January and has spent the past few months sharing a range of online digital health resources including apps, website links, videos and more.
The group helps to take the confusion out of online digital health resources by researching a range of options and sharing those that they think will be most helpful. Even better, all the resources they share are free to download, watch or use. We even supplied one of the videos- a recording on how you might use an Amazon home device to remind you to take medication!
We’re still planning on working with health organisations to promote digital health, but it’s nice to have a place where people can have regular access to information and online resources. We’re going to continue to keep an eye on the group and look forward to seeing what’s published in the future.
